The professional activity of insurance brokers/brokerage firms is regulated by Royal Decree-Law 03/2020, of 4 February, on urgent measures to incorporate various European Union directives into the Spanish legal system, and among others, in the field of private insurance, thus guaranteeing the protection of clients’ rights.

We hereby inform you that we have taken out a Professional Liability policy and have the legally established financial capacity, all in compliance with the provisions of article 157.1, paragraphs f) and g).
As an insurance broker we act on behalf of our clients. Insurance brokers/brokerage firms are the only professionals authorised to advise you with the strictest independence and impartiality with respect to insurance companies. We offer advice on the insurance products commercialised, based on an objective and personalised analysis. The remuneration we receive for this is a commission which is included in the insurance premium.
We have a Customer Service Department outsourced to the Consejo General de los Colegios de Mediadores de Seguros, whose main function is to process and resolve complaints and claims that may be submitted by natural or legal persons for the services provided. Complaints and claims may be submitted to the Customer Service Department or, where appropriate, to any office open to the public of the Schippers Insurance Brokerage Company, as well as to the following e-mail address: schippers@schippers.es and/or to the e-mail address of the Customer Service Department: atencioncliente@mediadores.info and whose postal address is: Alcalá 96, Piso 6º, Puerta 2ª. 28009 Madrid. For this purpose, Schippers Insurance Brokers has a complaint or claim form and Regulations governing the operation of the Customer Service Department.
We have established the processing of your personal data, in accordance with the provisions of article 5.1 of Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights.
We also inform the client of the content of article 21 of Law 50/1980, on Insurance Contracts, in such a way that the communications that the broker sends to the insurer will have the same effects as if they were made by the interested party (policyholder).
